IBM opens second innovation centre in the UAE

Dubai: IBM on Sunday opened its second industry and innovation centre in Dubai in bid to further expand its operations in the Middle East and Pakistan.

The company opened its first innovation centre in Abu Dhabi in 2009.

The centre will foster innovation in the region by providing an enhanced customer experience, connecting clients with high technical skills and expertise, the company said in a statement. It added that the new centre will also offer IBM clients access to advanced technologies in cloud and cognitive and to IBM’s research centres.
