按照知识和人力资源开发管理局（KHDA）报道，超过25％的迪拜学校向他们的学生推广园艺。

研究还发现，自己种植粮食的儿童更有可能多吃新鲜水果和蔬菜。园艺还更多地与学生的科学成绩联系在一起。
