教育部部长要求学生：不能使用公共媒体资源发布攻击他人的新闻

阿联酋教育部部长HussainIbrahimAlHammadi强调：“在阿联酋，师生之间相互尊重是首要原则。在学校里，教师是不允许体罚学生的。视频里教师在教室里掌掴学生是不友好的事件。”

他说：“昨天流传到网上的视频事件并不是遵守学校行为规范的体现，也不是阿联酋全体社会推崇的价值观念。”

教育部命令掌掴学生教师停职，并成立了调查委员会，对这一事件展开调查。

“任何形式的体罚都不能作为学校教学的工具。类似的不友好事件不应该再次发生。”他说。

教育部长再次强调说“现代教育手段应该确保学校纪律。教育部将采取严格的法律措施严禁校园内违法事件的发生。”

"Theincidentinthevideowhichwentviralonsocialmediayesterdayisnotrepresentativeofthepracticesandstandardsofthecountry'sschoolsandthenoblevaluesupheldbyEmiratisociety,"hesaid.

TheMinistryofEducationsuspendedtheteacherforhittingthestudentandformedaninquirycommitteetoinvestigatetheincident.

"Allformsofphysicalpunishmentarerejectedasatoolofdisciplineatschools.Theincidentisanisolatedonethatshouldnothappenagain,"theeducationministersaid.
