6月15日至9月15日 阿联酋工人午休开始执行

为期三个月的午休制度将从6月15日开始，斋月照常进行 雇主有义务为工人提供冷水、盐、柠檬、新鲜的沙拉和其它必需品

星期天劳动部宣布针对阿联酋工人午休提案的决议，规定了阿联酋工人在太阳直射的午间12点30至下午3点休息三个小时，执行日期从6月15日至9月15日。

劳动部部长SaqrGhobash陈述道：这一阶段的工作时长分为两个部分——早班和夜班——也有8个小时的工作时长，如果工人要求加班，那么必须根据法律的规定付给他们加班工资。

在实行午休制的阶段内，规定了雇主在为工人提供午休住房之外，还必须要公布出每日工作的时间表。

劳动部监察事务部的助理副部长MaherAlObed在通告新闻发布会上称：“这个规定（在暑期的规定）已经连续使用11年了，它的发布旨在按照国际标准，提升工人工作期间的健康和安全对策措施。

TheMinistryofLabouronSundayannouncedthedecisiontointroducethemiddaybreakforUAElabourers,prohibitingthemfromworkingunderdirectsunlightbetween12:30pmand3:00pmforthreemonths,from15thJunetill15thSeptember.

SaqrGhobash,MinisterofLabour,statedthattheworkinghoursduringtheperiod,dividedintotwo--morningandnightshifts--canhavean8hourspan,andincasethelabourerswereaskedtoworkmore,thentheymustbecompensatedforovertimeasperthelaws.

Therulingalsoenquiresemployerstopostaclearscheduleofthedailyworkinghoursduringthemiddaybreakperiod,apartfromprovidingsheltertothelabourersduringresthours.

MaherAlObed,AssistantUndersecretaryfortheInspectionalAffairsattheMinistry,inaconferenceheldtomaketheannouncement,statedthat"theruling,whichhasbeenrunning(duringsuchhotdays)for11continuousyears,waslaunchedtopromotehealthandsafetyprecautionswhileonduty,inaccordancewithinternationalstandards."
