超强飓风Ashabaa明日抵达阿联酋东部海域

‘Ashobaa'最新消息：预计明天飓风将抵达阿联酋东部海域，引起巨浪 风暴表层风速预计达到60-80km/h；科威特暂停海上航运

2015年6月9日最新消息：根据'EmaratAlYoum'的报道，国家气象与地震中心已经表示登陆印度海岸的热带低压气旋最早将于今晚对阿联酋的天气状况产生影响。

报道中称：被称作是Ashobaa的热带风暴将会以强风的形式登陆东海岸，引起较高的海浪。

科威特暂停海上航运

科威特港口管理局KPA宣布：由于恶劣的天气、强风和沙尘的影响，Shuwaikh,Shuaiba和Doha港口的航运都将被取消。

Shuwaikh  港口指导部门领导JassemAlMutairi告知科威特新闻社Kuna：目前，港口的工作被临时暂停了。

他说：“能见度低于两海里，风速达到32-34节。这一决定是考虑到安全性原因的。”

根据国际海洋组织（IMO）的相关法律规定，当能见度小于3海里时海洋航运就要停止。AlMutairi说道。

根据海洋航运操控部门的带离副主任ShuaibAl-Ali船长的说法称：Shuaiba港的能见度小于1海里，风速达到25-30节。

目前,有三艘船只等待进入港口,其他两艘船等一旦天气好转就准备离开,他补充说道。

36小时的监控

来自区域主要预报中心的最新的卫星影像和观察以及天气预报显示，低压气旋在慢慢演变成被称作Ashobaa的热带风暴，六个小时前，它的最初登陆位置在阿拉伯海的东部，目前，它在不断地向北边和西北边移动。

目前它的位置在北纬17.5°，东经67.5°，距离阿曼Masirah岛约960千米，表层风速在60-80km/h。

它会继续向北-西北方向移动，在未来的36小时之内会继续加强演变为热带风暴。国家气象与地震中心称会持续监控该天气系统，因为众所周知，这类天气系统非常多变。

飓风

根据美国海军联合台风警报中心的报道，在阿拉伯海形成的天气系统已经从“深低气压”升级成为“热带气旋”/飓风，巴基斯坦也发布了其南部沿海地区的预警。

该飓风被称作Ashobaa。

根据印度气象局和台风联合警报中心的消息称，依据飓风最新的运动轨迹,飓风眼的位置大约离阿曼海岸线970公里。而其外层大致位于距离Masirah岛510公里处。阿联酋邻近国家也应该保持警惕,因为这天气系统在阿拉伯海聚集水蒸气。

TheKuwaitPortsAuthority,KPA,hasannouncedthatnavigationhasbeensuspendedattheShuwaikh,ShuaibaandDohaPortsduetobadweather,fastwindanddust.

"Visibilitywasbelowtwonauticalmilesandwindspeedreached32-34knots.Thedecisionobservessecurityandsafetyreasons,"hesaid.

AccordingtotheInternationalMaritimeOrganisation(IMO)Law,navigationhastostopwhenvisibilityfallstolessthan3nauticalmiles,AlMutairisaid.

Thelatestsatelliteimagesandobservationsinadditiontoweatherreportsfromthemainregionalcentresindicatethatthedepressionhasbeendeepeningintoatropicalstormnamed(Ashobaa)andhasmovedtowardsthenorthandnorthwestfromitsoriginalpositionlocatedtotheeastsideoftheArabianSeaduringthelastsixhours.

Itiscurrentlylocatedatalatitudeof17.5N&67.5Eabout960kmfromMasirahIsland(Oman),withsurfacewindspeedbetween60-80km/hour. 

Itwillcontinuemovenorth-northwestwardsandintensifyfurtherduringnext36hoursintoastrongtropicalstorm.NCMSsaiditwillkeepwatchingthisweathercase,asitiswellknownthatsuchweathercasesarequicklychangeable.

‘TropicalCyclone’

TheweathersystemthathasformedovertheArabianSeahasbeenupgradedfroma‘DeepDepression’intoa‘TropicalCyclone’bytheUSNavy’sJointTyphoonWarningCentre(JTWC),evenasPakistanissuesanalertacrossitssoutherncoastline.

TheCycloneisbeingreferredtoas'Ashobaa'.

Accordingtothelatesttrajectory,theeyeofthecycloneisapproximately970kmsoffOman’scoastlinewhileitsouterspherenearly510kmsoffMasirahIslandaspertheIndianMetDepartmentandtheJTWC,respectively;theneighbouringcountry,alongwiththeUAE,remainonalertasthisweathersystemgatherssteamovertheArabianSea.
