迪拜：上个月，阿联酋共发生了10起车辆着火事故，为此，当局启动针对驾驶员的意识行动。

车辆起火的原因

SebouhElectricalWorkshop的运营者HagopYacoubian称电池电缆松动是车辆起火的主要原因。

“松动的电缆和老化的线路会引起火花，如果火花靠近输油管道就十分危险了。裸露的线路是极其危险的，它绝对会造成火灾。没有固定好的燃油泵也是起火的原因之一。”

AlShalloubi说道，如果车辆着火，驾驶员应该立刻将车辆熄火，然后尽量远离车辆。

“最重要的一个习惯就是要根据车辆上次维护的时间定期去检修车辆。”AlShalloubi说道，“大部分人认为检修仅只是去换一下机油和过滤器，这是非常疏忽的做法。然而，大部分检修代理商做的工作要那多一些，比如还要检查汽车的旋转，让车辆进行道路测试，如果道路测试显示有任何问题，还要通过电脑启动引擎进行检查。实际上，测试人员都有一份车辆检查清单，必须一项一项地检查。只有做到了这一点才能确保车辆是最安全的。”

他还说道，经销商有一个各种车辆型号、信息和检修经历以及为拥有的技术性细节的技术组和知识库。

“还有在世界各个官方经销商之间流通的数据表。人们说经销商那里的价格太贵，所以他们都不把车带到那里检修。然而，每一个经销商的维修部门会及时地跟新软件以及缺陷和技术方面的信息。实际上，新车型使用的具体的、复杂的技术只有官方授权的技术检修部门才能处理。”

Dubai:Morethan10incidentsofvehiclescatchingfireintheUAEinthelastonemonthhaspromptedauthoritiestostepupawarenessdrivesformotorists.

Causesoffiresincars

HagopYacoubian,owneroftheSebouhElectricalWorkshop,saidloosebatterycablesareamajorcauseofcar-fires.

“Loosecablesandoldwiringcancausesparkstoburst,whichisespeciallydangerousifthesparksareneartooilpipelines.Barewiresareextremelydangerousandcandefinitelystartafire.Fuelpumpsthatarenotfixedwellcanalsobeacause.”

AlShalloubisaidifacarhappenstocatchfire,motoristsshouldswitchofftheengine“andgetasfarawayaspossible.

“Oneofthemostimportanthabitsistobringthecarinformaintenanceasspecifiedbythelastservice,”AlShalloudisaid,“Mostpeoplethinkmaintenanceisjusttochangetheoilandfilter,whichisamajoroversight.However,dealershipsoftendomorethanthatlikecheckingtyrerotations,puttingthecarthrougharoadtest,andrunningtheenginethroughacomputeriftheroadtestshowsanysuspicioussigns.Infact,thereisachecklistatesterhastogothroughbeforeclearingthecar.Thisisalltoensurethecarisatitssafest.”

Dealerships,hesaid,haveaskillsetandknowledgebasefortheirrespectivecarmodels,informationandexperiencethatrun-of-the-millgaragesandmechanicsdonothave.

“Therearedatasheetsthatcirculatebetweenofficialdealershipsaroundtheworld.Peoplesaydealershipsaremoreexpensiveandsotheyavoidbringingintheircartothem.However,everydealershipisup-to-datewiththelatestsoftwareandinformationondefectsandtechnology.Infact,newercarmodelsutilisespecificandcomplextechnologiesthatonlyauthorisedmechanicscanhandle.”
