八辆电动车加入DEWA车队

迪拜:官方在周三表示随着八辆电动车投入到DEWA车队使用，将会持续推进迪拜的绿色出行。

电动汽车的运行完全靠电池集中供电，而整个迪拜兴建新型充电站将会不断增加绿色电动车的购买数量。这一举措是迪拜绿色出行计划的一部分，鼓励使用可持续运输和混合的电动汽车，这将减少迪拜碳排放的总量。

SaeedMohammadAlTayer是迪拜水电局的总经理兼首席执行官，他说，用可再生能源代替碳燃料的举措对迪拜来说至关重要，这可以减少碳燃料对环境的污染破坏。

AITayer补充说：“为符合迪拜在2021年减少16%的碳排放的发展战略，我们感到非常荣幸能成为首个使用高性能电动汽车车队的政府组织，此举将支持迪拜实现在2030年使用混合动力和电动汽车的总数可以增加10%的雄心壮志。迪拜水电局是第一个将这宏伟计划变为现实的公共组织。”他还说：“绿色充电器的倡议将十分有效地促进电动汽车在迪拜的普及,这将减少迪拜的碳痕迹。”

Dubai:ThedrivetomakeDubaigreencontinueswiththeintroductionofeightelectriccarstothefleetofDubaiElectricityandWaterAuthority,officialssaidonWednesday.

Theelectriccarsrunexclusivelyonbatterypowerandwillbetoppedupatnewelectricalchargingstationsacrosstheemirate.

ThemoveispartoftheDubaiGreenTransportinitiativeandencouragestheuseofsustainabletransportationwithhybridandelectricvehicles,whichwillcuttotalcarbonemissionsinDubai.

SaeedMohammadAlTayer,ManagingDirectorandCEOofDewa,saidoffsettingcarbonfuelswithrenewableenergyiscriticalforDubaitoreduceitsimpactontheenvironment.

“InlinewiththestrategytoreducecarbonemissionsinDubaiby16percentby2021,wetakeprideinbeingthefirstgovernmentorganisationtoaddhigh-performanceelectriccarstoitsfleet.ThismovesupportsDubai’sambitiontoachievea10percentincreaseinthetotalnumberofhybridandelectriccarsinuseby2030.Dewaisthefirstpublicutilitytomakethisambitionareality,”saidAlTayer.“TheGreenChargerinitiativewillhugelyandeffectivelycontributetoboostingthespreadofelectriccarsinDubai,whichwilldecreasethecarbonfootprintoftheEmirate,”addedAlTayer.
