AccordingtotheheadoftheseismologysectionatNCMS,thetremorswouldsignifyalow-impactearthquake.

“Theearthquake’sepicentrewasrecordedas11kmoffthecoastofFujairahcity,intheOmanSea,atadepthoffourkilometres,”saidNCMS’KhamisElShamsitoldEmirates24|7.

“Thelow-gradeearthquakestruckat10.58amUAEtime,withresidentsintheareafeelingtheimpactofthetremors,buttoaverylessdegree.Although,thereisnosuchimpactonlandintermsofdamageinwakeofthetremors.”
