面向阿布扎比，靠近西行的SheikhZayed公路桥的公交枢纽2正在快速修建。

这座新的大桥将凌空于SheikhZayed路高架和三公里长的迪拜运河，并从商业湾(BusinessBay)延伸到阿拉伯海湾，切断E11，阿尔瓦斯（AlWasl）和朱美拉海滩路。

根据迪拜道路交通局一月发布的最新消息，SheikhZayed公路桥已经完成了70%，而整个迪拜运河占该项目的61%。

WorkonthewestboundSheikhZayedRoadbridgenearInterchange2inthedirectionofAbuDhabi,isfastprogressing.

Thenewbridge,whichwillseeastretchofSheikhZayedRoadelevated,willmakewayforthethree-kilometrelongDubaiCanalthatwillstretchfromBusinessBaytotheArabianGulf,cuttingthroughE11,alongwithAlWaslandJumeirahBeachRoad.

AccordingtothelastupdatebytheRoadsandTransportAuthorityofDubai(RTA)inJanuary,thecompletionoftheSheikhZayedRoadbridgeshadreached70percent,whiletheoverallDubaiCanalprojectstoodat61percent.
