迪拜希望引进加拿大对本国农业畜牧业的投资

以经济发展部的机构——迪拜投资发展局——为首的迪拜政府代表团结束了在加拿大三个主要城市的访问。此次访问主要是为了在竞标中寻找商业和投资伙伴进而促进可持续的和创新驱动的经济发展。

此次代表团成员包括来自杰贝尔阿里自由区、DubaiSouth、Tecom集团、旅游和商业市场部门、阿联酋航空、阿联酋航空货运公司。代表团在不列颠哥伦比亚省访问了埃德蒙顿、卡尔加里、温哥华这几个城市，在为期十天的任务中，他们获得了来自加拿大阿联酋商业委员会的支持。

代表团的成员和在多个不同行业引领具有创新性的公共和私营部门的人们进行了多次获益良多的谈话，这些行业包括智能技术、娱乐领域、物流、交通、出口便利化、农业企业、研究与开发，还有这三个加拿大城市的可持续性。

FahadAlGergawi，迪拜FDI的最高行政负责人认为在迪拜计划2021中强调创新性和可持续性使得酋长国和像加拿大这样的国家的投资者和机构建立密切关系更加重要，因为他们具有专业技术而且注重创新。

“加拿大阿联酋之间的联系一直很紧密，我们已经拓展了全新的和新兴的部门。在2014-2015年间，双边贸易从54亿上升到超过60亿，对于加拿大而言，阿联酋已经变成了他们在世界上的第四大出口市场，在中东和北非地区的最大市场。”AlGergawi说道。
