日内瓦：世界卫生组织（WHO）在治愈小儿麻痹症问题方面赞赏了阿联酋的关键作用，并肯定了阿布扎比王子和阿联酋最高武装代理司令Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan殿下的领导贡献。

世界卫生组织官方网站的一篇报道称巴基斯坦疾病高发区超过1550名儿童接受了小儿麻痹症治疗：接受小儿麻痹症口服疫苗。感谢阿联酋的巴基斯坦联合救助项目（阿联酋PAP）。

Geneva: The world Health Organisation (WHO) has paid tribute to the United Arab Emirates for its pivotal role, through the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to eliminate all cases of polio around the world.

In a report published in its official website, the WHO said in the last week of August, more than 15.5 million children across Pakistan’s highest-risk districts received the most vital health interventions to protect them from polio: two drops of oral polio vaccine, thanks to the UAE's Pakistan Assistance Programme (UAE PAP) .
